We believe that children make most progress when parents and teachers work together. To achieve this, we encourage parents to be involved with their children’s learning at home and at school and we value the part played by parents in their children’s education.

Children are encouraged to practise reading at home and to use the local library. In Key Stage 2 children are given a piece of Literacy and Numeracy work every week. Homework is given out on a Friday and is due in on a Wednesday. Children are occasionally asked to undertake other tasks such as collecting information, researching a particular topic or finishing off work started at school. Please support your child in completing this work by providing them with the time, space, and peace and quiet in which to work.
