At Parkwall Primary School, the safety, wellbeing and happiness of every child are at the heart of everything we do. Parents and carers entrust us with their children each day, expecting a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where they can learn, grow and thrive. We take this responsibility extremely seriously and have a wide range of measures in place to ensure every child feels safe, valued and supported throughout their time at school.

We are proud of our school community and the strong relationships that exist between children, families and staff. As a dedicated team of professionals, we are committed to providing the very best educational experience for every child. We recognise that this is achieved most successfully when we work in genuine partnership with parents and carers, sharing a common goal of helping every child flourish.

We promote and maintain a culture of safeguarding through our robust safeguarding and child protection procedures, a strong PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) curriculum, online safety education, and comprehensive pastoral support. We encourage children to talk about their worries, understand how to keep themselves safe, and develop the confidence and resilience they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility at Parkwall Primary School. Our staff receive regular training and work closely with families and external agencies where needed to ensure that all children are protected, supported and able to reach their full potential.

If you have any safeguarding concerns about a child, please contact the school as soon as possible. Concerns can be reported directly to our safeguarding team via ParkwallSafeguarding@sgmail.org.uk. All concerns will be treated seriously and dealt with in accordance with our safeguarding and child protection procedures.
